Targeting Burnout and Mental Health at its Core: the Brain
The Breath Boss program is based on the idea that breathing is a key aspect of mental functions, and that consciously controlling the breath can lead to profound positive changes in all aspects of one's life.
The program addresses the negative effects of burnout, mental health issues, and emotional imbalance on employee wellbeing, productivity, and overhead costs, which have been exacerbated by the pandemic.

Team building is the process of creating a cohesive and effective team. It involves shared experiences, creating a safe environment for team members to communicate and be vulnerable, authenticity in communication, and developing trust and respect among team members.

Emotional intelligence is the ability to recognize, understand, and manage one's own emotions, as well as the emotions of others. It involves mindful practice, empathy, and the ability to emerge as a leader in a given situation, as well as developing skills such as active listening, conflict resolution, and emotional regulation.

Breath Boss differs from other meditation/breathing app (Calm, Headspace) in that it is primarily a live online coaching program that is supported by its online library. Breath Boss takes a holistic approach, looking at each of your team members as multidimensional individuals and focusing on developing the 6 Powers required for them and your company to thrive.

During each monthly live session that is held online, your team will share one or two guided breathing experiences which will target the most common psychological and physiological issues working people face today. They will have time to reflect and share how the breath experience impacted them in a small group setting. For each breath practice shared, they will learn how to safely perform it, suggested timing and frequency, benefits and contraindications, mindfulness anchors to help them stay present during practice, and where to find it in the online Breath Library.

A new topic will be presented to the group in each month's session, which will be discussed through interactive online tools. Communication, networking and leadership emerges from the opportunity to share the highlights or themes that presented themselves.

Breath Boss includes a weekly Journal prompt. Each individual on your team will be asked to answer a simple question based on the monthly breath practice or topic presented in the coaching session. While it will take them only a few moments to answer, this self-reflection time is crucial for them to gain deeper self-awareness, continue to release old patterns and strengthen their new habits.

Neuroplasticity is really the only effective route to creating lasting change with our mental and emotional habits. Building new neural networks in the body’s command center requires repetition. Breath Boss offers optional daily reminders so your team can get in the minimum amount of mindful breath practice required to create real change in the brain, only fifteen minutes a day.
It’s both exciting and practical for today’s busy professionals that science suggests breaking up the fifteen minute total daily goal into short regular practices throughout the day. Studies show this to be the most effective way to build the higher thinking parts of the brain and therefore create new habits.

Your team receives monthly group breath coaching sessions, live online. Our online Breath Boss Library provides support, guidance and motivation needed for them to practice and eventually master their ability to become the Boss of themselves mentally, emotionally and physically.
